Noosh It! 6/12/08 I've got some new amps for sale, ready for delivery! I've got a Hot N Nasty with amazing paint by Michael Charvel of Wayne Guitars. Also a new RatRod head with paint by San Marcos artist Cliff Portis. Both of these heads look and sound amazing! See the "in tha House" page for more. Also working on the new ThunderTweak Delay pedals. These are a digital delay with an analog sound and etched aluminum cases. We've been working on a new PCB design to make them more bulletproof. we hope to start delivering pedals in the next 6 weeks or so. Check back for pics, soundbites, etc. Also working on my first all-tube, hand wired bass amp. For this project I'm rewiring an old Altec tube power amp. This will have 80 watts from 4 - EL34 tubes and dual 5U4GB tube rectifiers. this should have plenty of punch with the proper speaker cabinet. Stay tuned bass fans! Oh, and I'm playing in a alt-country band called The Thrillbillies. We're playing a couple times a month here in the San Marcos/Texas Hill Country area. It's a tight, pro band with talented players with well-written originals and a fun selection of covers. We pretty much kick ass and have a lot of fun doing it! I've got a lot of stuff in mind for the website. Look for some web articles explaining how tube amps work (the short version, for guitar players;-) also how we "hand-build" custom tube guitar amps. I'm also planning a new line of Ace Pepper Custom amplifiers. These will be unique art pieces with features and designs not seen in guitar amps. I want to re-define the line between what is an "electronic device" and what is "art". Can a collection of resistors and capacitors and transformers form a soul? Can electronics evoke emotion? What do tubes dream about?... thanx!
